As Christians, new and old, we all need to know Jesus and his teachings in order to serve Him better.  One way to accomplish this is by studying his Word.  The Christian Education Committee strives to provide our congregation with opportunities to study the Word of God together through Sunday school classes and small study groups that meet at different times during the year.  These allow us to grow in discipleship and fellowship.

BASIC (Brothers And Sisters In Christ) Bible Study

Current Series: “Revelation"

Sundays, 10:00AM

Leader: Harry Owens

Come join Harry Owens at the BASIC Sunday School class. Starting January 5th, the class will study Revelation. Pastor Steve will be offering this study on Thursday’s at 7:00 pm in Room 8. Revelation shouldn't leave us fearful or confused, but its imagery and concepts often confound our modern ears. If all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable, though, we should assume Revelation is as accessible and helpful as any other book of the Bible. Study Revelation verse-by-verse to discover how the last book of the Bible is accessible, helpful, and speaks a steadying word of assurance and endurance to the church in every age.

Lysa TerKeurst reflects on how life often diverges from our expectations, leading to feelings of disappointment, disillusionment, and even hopelessness.
