Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word.

Age-Groups

Nursery/Toddlers (Nursery Room 1)
Preschool - 5th Grade (Rooms 6-8)
Jr. High - 6th through 8th Grade (Room 9)
High School - 9th through 12th Grade (Room 10)

Safety

All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition, all teachers and helpers must attend Safe Sanctuary training.

Biblical Teaching

Children and Youth curriculum varies between topics and books of the Bible.

Children's Ministry

No matter what age your child is, there is a place for them in Otterbein UMC's Children's Ministry! Our goal is to bring your children closer to God through connecting with Jesus and growing in his word. For our young friends ages 0-4 years old, we offer Sunday morning nursery care under trained and experienced staff. If your kids are aged Pre-K-6th grade, they can join us in Children's Church where we explore the Bible together and learn how we can best serve God. Keep an eye out for monthly and annual activities outside of Sunday mornings as well! We hope to see you!

Otterbein youth

We're Otterbein Youth Group! We love to play games, share fun stories, engage in bible studies, and worship together. Our goal is to make sure every student is seen, known, and loved. We encourage students to stay connected with us via social media (otterbeinyouthgroup Instagram ), and at-home resources and packets.

Parents

Parents are an integral part of youth ministry. We know that YOU do 95% of the ministry with your child at home. So, we want to work with and support you and your family. At Otterbein Youth we connect you with what we are currently learning in youth group. We have several resources for our parents of youth.
